The weather Thursday: calm before the return of the rain from the west in the afternoon or evening

On the Hauts de France as well as from the Grand-Est to the Northern Alps, the morning will still be cloudy on Thursday with some rain and light snowfall on the relief from 1,200 to 1,400 m, according to forecasts from Météo- France.

But, towards midday clouds and rains will move away and clearings will develop.

On the south-eastern quarter and Corsica, on the other hand, the weather will be sunny from the morning.

Over the rest of the country, the morning grayness will slowly dissipate inland, the weather will remain very cloudy in the afternoon.

A new disturbance in Brittany

But on Brittany, from midday a new disturbance will be announced, with showers then a more marked rainy period will circulate in the afternoon to Lower Normandy and the Pays de Loire, accompanied by a reinforcement of the south wind up to 60 to 80 km/h and sometimes of the storm.

Elsewhere on the west of the Pyrenees, there too the sky will be charged in the afternoon, with rain up to the foothills, a little snow on the chain from 2,000 m.

Minimum temperatures will range from 2 to 8 degrees in general, 7 to 11 degrees in the northwest and around the Mediterranean, 10 to 14 in Corsica.

The maximums will be between 10 and 15 degrees over a large northern half, 14 to 18 over the Southwest and 16 to 21 degrees near the Mediterranean.
