At around 9:30 p.m., the police were alerted that several people were violent towards a person outside, in the Sorgenfri area in Malmö.
Police and ambulance rushed to the scene, Spånehusvägen.
Several people were said to be involved.
A 65-year-old man was taken to hospital by ambulance, his condition is unknown.
The police cordoned off the scene and are investigating the incident as attempted murder.
The police are looking for three to four people, who may have left the scene by car.
