“There are no casualties among visitors and employees,” the Twitter post said.
The department said that the fire engulfed one of the transformers of the hydroelectric power station, located at the dam.
Currently, the station continues to generate electricity.
Earlier it was reported that an emergency occurred on the Hoover Dam, because of which the fire brigades of the American city of Boulder left for it.
