The Syrian government delegation arrived in the Kazakh capital, Nur-Sultan, in preparation for the start of the meetings of the 18th International Conference on Syria, in the Astana format scheduled for today, Wednesday.
The Syrian government delegation is headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Ayman Susan.
On the ninth of this month, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry announced that the meeting on Syria in the "Astana" format will be held in Nur-Sultan on June 15-16, 2022, which is the eighteenth high-level international meeting on Syria within the framework of the Astana process.
The seventeenth meeting of the Astana format was held on December 21 and 22 in the capital, Nur-Sultan.
