  On the same day, Tokayev said when attending the plenary meeting of Majlis (lower house of parliament) that the country must follow a gradual path of reform and continuously promote high-quality development.   On the same day, Tokayev signed a presidential decree officially appointing Orzas Bekdenov as the prime minister of the new government. According to relevant laws of Kazakhstan, the Prime Minister must submit a plan for forming a new government to the President within ten days after being appointed.
