The Abu Dhabi Education and Vocational Training and Training Center (ATTC) announced that the Emirates Skills Competition is the UAE's premier event that celebrates the UAE's outstanding talents in the technical and professional fields and contributes to inspiring young people to learn and adopt new career paths based on technology and technical crafts. Has contributed to the discovery, care, refinement and rehabilitation of more than 4,000 Emirati talent in more than 50 manual, technical and technological skills.

Mr. Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Center, told Emirates Al Youm that the center organizes the national skills competition to be a new world in which young people will compete in various specialized skills related to industrial progress, including maintenance skills of aircraft engines, electronic mechanics, Engineering, Technology and Industrial, stressing that the aim of the competition exceeds the limits of competition to reach the degree of enabling citizens to develop their abilities for industrial and engineering innovation and development.

He added that the center provided the necessary opportunities for the competition to provide full opportunities for young men and women of the state to highlight their skills and reach the world by winning one of the medals, and thus join the UAE skills team, which represents the state in the international competition for skills.

He explained that the competition's skills fall into eight categories: social and personal services, creative arts and fashion, transportation and logistics, building and construction technology, manufacturing and engineering technology, ICT and the Emirates Technology and Innovation Competition.

Al Shamsi pointed out that the UAE National Skills Competition is a unique and unique experience for emerging young people to challenge their peers in the selected category and to receive the best awards in their field. Competition also represents a valuable opportunity for students and highly skilled youth to demonstrate their abilities and develop their competitive abilities. Their skills are constantly striving for better achievements. National competition is a starting point for a promising career, as well as exceptional rewards in cash prizes.

The Center provides extensive training both within and outside the country through a network of experts, local and private entities, industry partners and TVET providers. The Advanced Training Program includes workshops to enhance the skills of competitors.

Head of Emirates Skills Competition Ali Al Marzouqi said that the national skills competition is a great platform for raising the skills and abilities of the UAE national students, providing them with new skills that will benefit them in the future, empower them with distinguished jobs and open the doors of the labor market. He pointed out that the elite elite winners in the last session of the competition will be nominated to join the team skills of the UAE participating in the global competition in Kazan, Russia, this year, pointing out that the team is already prepared according to a rigorous and intensive program for nearly two years.

Talents of the owners of inspiration

The Director of the Abu Dhabi Center for Technical Education and Training, Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, stressed that the UAE Skills Competition has witnessed a great development since the launch of the first session in 2009. The number of participants increased, and the number of skills increased from seven skills in the first cycle to 51 skills during the current year. In addition to attracting 19 gifted talents in cooperation with the Zayed Higher Institute for the care of the owners of the concern, reflecting the Center's keenness to give the opportunity to all segments of society to compete and improve their skills.
