Only a few days ago, Hilaria Baldwin reported on her difficult pregnancy and the fear for the embryo. Now, the wife of US actor Alec Baldwin has said she has had a miscarriage.
"There was no heartbeat in today's investigation ... so it's over," the 35-year-old wrote on Instagram. The fourfold mother posted a photo of her family to the sad news. "I am surrounded by so much love and feel very gifted."

Hilaria Baldwin had previously reported her worry about miscarriage on Instagram. The heartbeat of her embryo is not very strong, the chance of a viable pregnancy low.
As a reason for her openness she wrote: "I want to contribute to the realization that miscarriages are normal and should not be stigmatized."

Her daughter Carmen Gabriela is five years old. Rafael Thomas was born in 2015, followed by Leonardo Ángel Charles in September 2016 and Romeo Alejandro David in May 2018. Alec Baldwin's eldest daughter, model Ireland Baldwin, is from his marriage to actress Kim Basinger.
