The sports magazine "Sports Illustrated" shows in its famous swimwear edition for the first time a woman in Hijab and Burkini: Halima Aden. The American-Somali model described himself as a "Burkini Baby" in a magazine video published on Twitter. She called her performance "a dream come true".

Aden was born in the Kakuma refugee camp in northeastern Kenya and moved to the United States at the age of seven.
