The expelled because of its leading membership in the anti-constitutional citizen movement pro North Rhine-Westphalia (Pro NRW) from the service Policeman Wolfgang Palm may finally not back to work. After defeats by all instances, the Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe has now rejected a constitutional complaint Palms. This was insufficiently justified.

Palm is a city councilor in Aachen and from 2010 to 2015 was a member of Pro NRW, partly as deputy state chairman. Because of his leading role in the organization classified as anti-constitutional by the German constitution protection agency, the police headquarters of Aachen initiated disciplinary proceedings against the police chief commissioner in 2011, which led to his dismissal in 2014.

Complaints against this remained unsuccessful by all instances. Most recently, the Federal Administrative Court confirmed in 2018 that Palm had "violated its civil service obligation to maintain its constitutionality through its outstanding functions and as an election candidate for Pro NRW".

According to the findings of the protection of the constitution, the organization had turned against foreigners and especially against Muslims in a way that was incompatible with human dignity and freedom of religion. Because of its high functions at Pro NRW, Palm must have such statements "as an expression of own anti-constitutional settings imputed".

Palm had lodged a constitutional complaint. On his homepage he wrote that the corresponding decision of Karlsruhe would "write legal history".

However, the Federal Constitutional Court did not accept the complaint for decision. In the statement of grounds of the complaint lacked a "sufficient argumentative argument" with the arguments of the administrative courts, it was said.
