Why do modern meeting places in public authorities always look like interior furnishings for kindergartens? At the very beginning of Kiel "Tatort" this Sunday took Commissioner Borowski (Axel Milberg) and colleague Sahin (Almila Bagriacik) before a first ascent of the new police headquarters, everywhere were tiny little playful seating in yellow, green and orange in the area rum. Sahin raised his eyebrows and said, "Will our parents pick us up here?"

That was the serene, lilting, and occasionally mocking tone of the episode, which told of a supermarket cashier who fantasized about neighborly prosperity, shooting the man next door. In a whimsical scene, you could see Commissioner Borowski hiding neatly behind a cotton candy during an observation.

In our review, we wrote: "Such silly things eventually distract from the subtle horror that creeps like house slippers in the home environment." We gave six out of ten points. How did you find the "crime scene"?

The next episode with the Kiel investigator duo is already turned off. It was directed by Nikki Stein, who was once responsible for the grim, existentialist Frankfurt "crime scenes" with Jörg Schüttauf and Andrea Sawatzki. Also in the next Kiel episode it should be grimmer: It is about an opaque pastor family and a corpse buried under a dog carcass.
