When David Davis resigned as Brexit minister in July, another EU critic had to take over - after all, the complicated balance of power in the British cabinet was not allowed to waver. Prime Minister Theresa May opted for Dominic Raab, a pragmatist who has made a name for himself in the EU talks as a bustling negotiator. Most recently it has been speculated that Raab may be able to resign if May makes too much concessions to the EU. He had always said that in the past. Raab wants to agree to the deal, according to media reports. Should he decide otherwise, that would be May's second loss in the crucial Brexit ministry within months.
