Because of double murder and severe arson, the district court of Rostock has sentenced a woman to life imprisonment. The court saw it as proven that the 45-year-old had set fire to the end of March in Güstrow the apartment of her former partner and then completed the apartment door from the outside.
The 51 and 48-year-old victims remained according to prosecutors no way to escape, they burned beyond recognition. The court followed with the verdict the request of the indictment. The woman had denied the act, the defense pleaded for acquittal.
The two completely charred bodies had been found only after completion of the extinguishing work.
