A former employee who was re-arrested on the 27th on suspicion of robbery and murder for killing a second-hand goods dealer in an apartment in Nagoya City has paid approximately 74 million yen, which he converted into cash from stolen precious metals, to the host club. Interviews with investigators revealed that the money was also apparently used to purchase branded items to give to the hosts.

Police are investigating the case, suspecting that he was spending money to support the "Oshi" host.

The former employee denies the charges.

In September last year, suspect Asuka Uchida (30), unemployed and of no fixed address, strangled secondhand goods dealer Koichi Abe (42) to death in an apartment in Naka Ward, Nagoya, and stole about 74 million yen worth of precious metals. He was arrested on suspicion of robbery and murder and sent to the public prosecutor's office on the 28th.

According to the police, approximately 50 million yen of this amount was used to pay host club accounts receivable.

Furthermore, interviews with investigators revealed that the remaining 20 million yen appears to have been used to purchase branded items to give to so-called "favorite" hosts.

The day believed to be the day of the murder was the closing date for sales to determine the number one host, and on that day the suspect visited the store and paid millions of yen.

Police believe that he was spending money to support the "Oshi" host, and are investigating the details of the incident.

In response to the investigation, the suspect Uchida has denied the charges against her.
