The bus was heading towards Burkina Faso: At least 31 people died in a bus accident in Mali.
According to the Malian Ministry of Transport, ten other passengers were injured in the accident, some of them seriously.
Accordingly, the bus was traveling in the southeast of the country when it fell off a bridge.
Initial findings indicate that the driver had lost control of the vehicle.

Just at the beginning of the month, 15 people were killed and 46 others injured when a bus on the way to Bamako collided with a truck in the center of the country.
