The police stopped a drunk bus driver at the train station in Buchloe in the Ostallgäu district.
A woman - the only passenger on the bus - alerted the police on Tuesday morning when she saw that the driver was said to have drunk from a beer bottle while driving.
The police announced this on Wednesday.

When emergency services checked the driver at the train station, a breath alcohol test showed a level of over 1.1 per mille.
The officers ordered a blood sample and confiscated his driver's license.
