The Ravens offered themselves a great victory at home.

Joël Beya on a pass from Glody Likonza opened the scoring in the 32nd minute.

Glody Likonza then became a scorer on the second goal, shortly before the break (45+2′).

At the end of the match, Patient Mwamba hit the nail on the head (92nd).

The Congolese thus qualify for the quarter-finals even before the last day against Mamelodi Sundowns.

TP Mazembe had not reached the quarter-finals since 2020.

Wydad Casablanca regains hope

After a very bad start to the campaign with two defeats, Wydad Casablanca, finalist of the last edition, regained hope by winning 1-0 in Botswana on the ground of Jwaneng Galaxy.

At the end of the first period, Badr Gaddarine scored the only goal of the match.

With this success, the Moroccans are back against Simba, second, who held off ASEC Mimosas the day before in Ivory Coast (0-0) and who remain ahead in the results of direct confrontations.

To participate in the quarter-finals, WAC will have to achieve next weekend on the last day at home against ASEC, already qualified, a better result than Simba at home against Jwaneng Galaxy.

Reigning African champions Al Ahly advanced to the quarter-finals for the eighth consecutive time on Friday after a 1-0 victory over Ghanaian club Medeama.

El-Shahat stood out in the 48th minute.

Thanks to its away draw (0-0) against the Sudanese Al-Hilal, the Angolans Petro Atletico also booked their ticket for the quarters.
