With the end of the holiday, air ticket prices have experienced an annual "big dive", from the full price during the Spring Festival to just after the holiday. "The price is cut in half", all the way down to the "cabbage price" of 10-30% off.

According to industry insiders, the end of February to mid-March every year is the prime time for off-peak travel after the winter vacation and the Spring Festival travel season.

In addition to air tickets and hotel prices that are close to the lowest levels of the year, most of the major domestic scenic spots also implement off-season fares, which can be said to be "less people, less expenses".

Domestic and outbound air ticket prices have dropped significantly

During the Spring Festival, full-price economy class tickets from Beijing to Sanya were sold out, and full-price business class tickets were tens of thousands of yuan.

In sharp contrast, a reporter from Beijing Youth Daily found that on March 4, for example, the air ticket from Beijing to Sanya was 400-500 yuan, and the economy class ticket was about 12% off; the air ticket from Beijing to Guangzhou was about 500-700 yuan. , the economy class fare is 1.8-2.1% off; the lowest air ticket price from Beijing to Chongqing is about 290 yuan, which is 1.1% off the economy class fare, which can be called a "cabbage price".

Fees, etc., and the inability to buy equally cheap return air tickets, but on average the price is still the lowest in the whole year.”

Previously, Ms. Liu checked on an online travel platform. During the Spring Festival holiday, the adult fare to and from Beijing to Kuala Lumpur was 8,000-9,000 yuan, including tax. Air tickets to Southeast Asia are roughly equivalent to about 1/4 of the price during the Spring Festival peak season.

According to data from online travel platforms, it is still possible to find low-priced air tickets from Beijing to Macau, Jeju Island, Bangkok and other places for less than 1,000 yuan, which is significantly lower than the price during the Spring Festival holiday.

Ms. Liu told a reporter from Beiqing Daily that the price of booking air tickets and hotels is now 75% lower than the price during the Spring Festival peak season, and 20%-30% lower than the price during the winter vacation.
