The actress Judith Godrèche denounced the excesses of cinema, an art which sometimes covers "illicit trafficking in young girls", in a highly anticipated intervention during the 49th César ceremony on Friday, with the subject of sexual violence on everyone's minds.

“Why accept that this art that binds us is used as illicit trafficking in young girls?” asked the 51-year-old actress, who spoke out on the subject, filing a complaint against the directors Benoît Jacquot and Jacques Doillon for sexual and physical violence during his adolescence, which they deny.
