Wildfires have also broken out in Pu'an County of Qianxinan Prefecture, Xifeng County of Guiyang City, and Guanshanhu District of Guiyang City in recent days. Two people involved in fire fighting in Longyin Town, Pu'an County unfortunately died. As of now, the fire in Longyin Town has been controlled, the open flames have been extinguished, and the on-site firefighting work has been transferred to the residual fire treatment stage.

The Xinfeng County Bureau of Guiyang Public Security Bureau reported on February 21 that a wildfire broke out in the Li'anzhai group of Li'anzhai Village, Liuchang Town, Xifeng County, Guiyang City on February 17. The suspect Chen Moumou was in exile on the day of the incident. A forest fire started when an unextinguished cigarette butt fell from the forest of Li'anzhai Group in Li'anzhai Village, Changzhen, and the area burned reached 136.4 acres. At present, Chen Moumou has been subject to criminal compulsory measures by the public security organs in accordance with the law due to suspected crimes, and the case is under further investigation.
