Three years ago, a second-year male student at a private high school in Munakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture committed suicide after leaving a suicide note complaining of being bullied. The student's mother held a press conference and a third-party committee was set up by the high school. Although the agency recognized bullying, the company called for a re-investigation by Fukuoka Prefecture, stating that the cause of the suicide could not be determined. .

In March 2021, a second-year male student at Fukuoka High School attached to Tokai University in Munakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture committed suicide, leaving a suicide note complaining of bullying within the Kendo club he belonged to, and the school established a suicide note. While the third-party committee identified 10 cases of bullying, including sexual bullying, it also concluded that the direct cause of the suicide could not be determined.

Regarding this, on the 21st, the mother of the male student, who is in her 50s, held a press conference and revealed that the deceased was her son, Yudai.

``Yudai chose to die by himself because of the severe bullying he received and the harsh treatment of his advisors, which led to a deadlock and bitterness within the kendo club, which caused him to lose interest in the kendo he loved.'' I can only think that it was because I was no longer able to do it."

He went on to say, ``I feel disappointed that the third-party committee's report did not directly address the pain and regret that Yudai was experiencing,'' and accused Fukuoka Prefecture of bullying. They called for a re-investigation into the facts of the incident, the school's response, and its relationship to suicide.

Regarding the reinvestigation, Fukuoka Prefecture says it is "currently considering it."
