According to the police, around 4 p.m. on the 8th, a man in his 70s living in Minamiashigara City was walking his Shikoku dog when the dog suddenly ran away.



The Shikoku dog that escaped was a 9-year-old male with a length of about 1 meter and dark fur, and the owner said, ``While walking, his collar came off and he ran away.''

Over the next 40 minutes, people passing by near the Nakanuma intersection in Minamiashigara City reported sightings of the dog, which appears to be a Shikoku dog. Police have about 10 people searching for the dog, but no one has been found. It means that it is not.



Although no reports of damage have been received so far, on the 7th, a Shikoku dog bit and injured 12 people, including elementary school students, in Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture, and police advised nearby residents to keep the dog away. The city's Board of Education is also calling on elementary, junior high schools, and kindergartens in the city to be careful about the safety of children.
