The British King Charles III. According to Queen Camilla, she is doing “extremely well” given the circumstances. The 76-year-old said this in the evening at her first public appearance after her husband's cancer diagnosis was announced in Salisbury, southern England, as the British news agency PA reported.

When asked about the 75-year-old monarch's condition, she said, according to PA: "He is doing extremely well given the circumstances, he is very touched by all the letters and messages he receives from everywhere - that is very encouraging."

The palace announced on Monday that Charles was suffering from cancer. It is not known what type of cancer it is, except that it is not believed to be prostate cancer. Charles reportedly traveled with Camilla to his country estate Sandringham in the eastern English county of Norfolk on Tuesday.
