Stéphane Bern was the guest of Europe 1 this Tuesday morning to talk about his return to France 3 with a new issue of “Secrets of History” on Christian VII of Denmark. The host took the opportunity to announce that he would soon host a big evening on France 2 in favor of the animal cause.

You may not know it, but Stéphane Bern is a great friend of animals. The host has two great passions in life: history, obviously, but also his two wire-haired dachshunds Scoop and Mirza. “I love animals. I support the SPA and the Brigitte Bardot Foundation,” confides Stéphane Bern this Tuesday morning in

Culture Médias

on Europe 1. It is therefore quite natural that the PAF star agreed to host a big evening in favor of the animal cause, soon to be broadcast on France 2.

“Animals are not toys”

“We are going to make calls for adoption”, specifies Stéphane Bern before becoming indignant: “People offer or are offered animals and with inflation and the crisis, they do not necessarily have the means to "take care of them. Animals are not toys. They are sentient beings, living beings. And therefore we must take care of them."

Stéphane Bern should film this exceptional evening at the end of summer for prime time broadcast in September. In the meantime, the host will concentrate on filming

Secrets d'Histoire.

“And I’m also going to shoot two new episodes of

 Bellefond

, one of which with Bruno Solo,” explains Stéphane Bern, always so happy to play comedy in this France 3 series.
