Both became superstars through screens, love glamor, are businesswomen and activists - the influencer and reality actress has emphasized several times that Elizabeth Taylor is an idol for Kim Kardashian. Now Kardashian is on board as an executive producer for a documentary about the film legend.

The three-part series "Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar" was commissioned by the BBC, as the production company Fremantle announced. Family members, friends and colleagues will have their say, including the actresses Joan Collins and Margaret O'Brien and the US immunologist Anthony Fauci, with whom Taylor was an AIDS activist.

Kardashian, 43, is said to have a voice in the series in addition to her role as a producer. According to the statement, she conducted the last interview with Taylor before the actress's death in 2011. Kardashian described Taylor as a "fighter." She is proof that "you can develop and change and have different chapters in your life - and with this blueprint she paved the way for everyone who came after her."

Two-time Oscar winner Taylor died in 2011 at the age of 79. In a career spanning more than 50 years, she made over 50 films, including Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Cleopatra and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? Taylor had eight marriages and was also known as a businesswoman and activist.

Kim Kardashian appeared, among other things, in the 14-year-long reality TV show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”. But the influencer increasingly has more to do: Since September she has also been seen in a role in the US horror series “American Horror Story: Delicate”. In November she was also accepted for a leading role in the planned Netflix comedy "The Fifth Wheel", which she is also supposed to co-produce. Kardashian will play the titular “fifth wheel” in the women’s comedy.
