　　The reporter learned from the Beijing Municipal Landscaping and Greening Bureau that Beijing will add 15,000 acres of afforestation and greening area in 2023, with the forest coverage rate reaching 44.9%, the urban greening coverage rate reaching 49.8%, and the annual carbon sink of forest and green space reaching 9.2 million tons. There are 608 animal species, and the increasingly beautiful ecological background has helped Beijing win the title of "National Forest City". Citizens have more green space around them. The total number of park green spaces in the city has increased to 1,065, and the per capita park green space area has reached 16.9 square meters.
