A 64-year-old woman was stabbed to death in a house in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, and police are investigating the whereabouts of a man who left the scene based on information from witnesses.


Additionally, the woman's second daughter has not been able to be contacted, and police are investigating the possibility that she may have been involved in the incident.

Shortly after 6 p.m. on the 26th, Tomita was found lying on the ground bleeding from her neck at the residence of piano teacher Koyuki Tomita (64 years old) in 2-chome, Matsumotocho, Imabari City, and later died at the hospital. The incident has been confirmed and police are investigating it as a homicide.



Mr. Tomita had a knife wound on his neck, and according to the police, a man who was believed to have been involved in the incident was injured and was taken to the hospital at the residence. Based on footage from surrounding security cameras, it is believed that the man who left the scene was involved in the incident, and the whereabouts of the man are being investigated.



Furthermore, after the incident, Tomita's 35-year-old second daughter has not been able to contact her, and police are investigating the possibility that she may have been involved in the incident.



The incident took place in an area lined with shops and residences in the center of the city, and Tomita was teaching her piano at her home.
