According to the Metropolitan Police Department, in December last year, when exporting 180 kilograms of apples from Aomori Prefecture to Thailand, they submitted false documents to the Plant Protection Station at Haneda Airport claiming that they had confirmed that they were free of harmful insects. He is suspected of violating the Epidemic Prevention Act.



The sales company was also referred to the prosecutor's office on suspicion of violating the Plant Protection Act.



In order to export apples, a report is required to show that the apples were produced by a registered farmer and packaged in accordance with standards, but the two men attached falsified reports to apples produced for the domestic market. It means that you are trying to export it.



In February last year, we received a consultation from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries saying that a pest was discovered during an export inspection at the Plant Protection Station, and the Metropolitan Police Department was investigating.
