The Razzie Awards, or Golden Raspberry Awards as they are actually called, were founded in 1980 as a counterpoint to the Oscars.

Since then, it has given out awards for the year's worst films and acting performances.

Expendables 4, The Exorcist: Believer and the slasher film Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey have a "chance" to win the award for worst film this year.

Nominate children

But over the years, the film gala has received some criticism.

Among other things, it has on several occasions nominated children for the award for the year's worst acting performance.

In 2022, the ceremony withdrew an award given to Bruce Willis, when it was revealed that he suffered from the disease aphasia.

Film critic Caroline Hainer is critical of this type of film gala and thinks it is a bullying award.

- It is quite frankly unnecessary.

The publicity comes to the Razzies, not to the films, she says in Morgonstudion.

This year's Razzie gala is held on March 9, the day before the Oscars.
