The Work Style Reform Related Act, which came into effect in 2019,


introduced a cap on overtime work of 720 hours per year and less than 100 hours per month, including working on holidays, and also introduced regulations


regarding the acquisition of paid leave. , companies are now required to require workers who are given 10 or more days of paid vacation a year to take at least 5 days.



The law is to be reviewed five years after its enforcement, and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare set up a study group made up of experts, and the first meeting was held on the 23rd.



The committee members who attended


were of the opinion that, as the number of people working from home is increasing, it is necessary to examine whether it is appropriate to apply the same working hours system as those who commute to work, and
