A 57-year-old woman fell almost five meters from a parking deck in Kempten with her car.
She was slightly injured, police said.
When the woman wanted to drive her car into the parking deck and the barrier on the driveway opened, she suddenly gave full throttle and raced straight across the parking deck.
She broke through a metal fence on the opposite side and plunged the car into the depths.
The front of the car hit a green area and then flipped onto its roof.
Residents of an adjacent residential complex immediately provided assistance.
According to police, the woman probably accidentally pressed the accelerator.
The total damage in Friday's accident was estimated at at least 13,000 euros.
The car was totaled.
