  As a treasure of Chinese traditional culture, Peking Opera has attracted the love and attention of countless audiences with its unique art form and profound historical heritage.

Qipai art, founded by Peking Opera master Zhou Xinfang, is a unique genre of traditional Chinese opera. It stands proudly on the Liyuan stage with its superb performance skills, rich character creation and beautiful singing.

  However, with the development of the times, there are only a handful of old Qi-pai students active on the Peking Opera stage, and the Qi-pai repertoire has also been seriously lost.

Zhou Tong, secretary-general of the Beijing Chinese Quintessence Art Inheritance Promotion Association, introduced that in order to better inherit and carry forward the Qi style art, the Beijing Chinese Quintessence Art Inheritance Promotion Association and Deyun Society have specially established the Beijing Chinese Quintessence Art Inheritance Promotion Association-Qi School after years of preparations and efforts.   While the old artists continue to shine, the committee will also pay attention to the growth of the younger generation, strive to cultivate outstanding young Qipai talents, and encourage the new generation of artists to innovate on the basis of respecting tradition through organizing performances, art exchanges and other activities, and to contribute to the They provide more opportunities to showcase their talents.
