The chairman and three others were referred to the public prosecutor on suspicion of professional negligence resulting in death or injury, as the pouring of disinfectant alcohol led to the accident.

Last May, during a school barbecue at Hollywood World Beauty College in Yanagawa City, the clothes of four male students caught fire, killing Zen Yanagisawa (18 at the time) and three other students. People suffered from burns that took anywhere from 3 months to 1 week to heal completely.



The school has previously explained that

, staff members also used the stove to make the fire stronger. It is known that when alcohol was poured into a fire, it started a fire all at once.



Police were investigating the details of the incident by interviewing staff and students, but discovered


that the 23-year-old staff member had poured industrial alcohol, which was used for disinfection, into a stove containing charcoal.


It is suspected that another 54-year-old employee was at the same table but did not stop the attack

As a result, on the 19th, police referred the three students to the public prosecutor's office on suspicion of causing death or injury due to professional negligence, alleging that the school's inappropriate response led to the accident.
