Alec Baldwin charged with shooting on film set - again

It was in October 2021 that the actor fired a prop gun that turned out to be live-loaded during filming in the US state of New Mexico.

The shooting killed photographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza.

Alec Baldwin was charged in January last year, but it was dropped in April.

Now he is being charged again for the crime of "involuntary manslaughter", which can be compared to the Swedish criminal classification of causing the death of another.

It happens after the case has been presented to a grand jury where the prosecutor must have presented new analyzes of the weapon.

Means he didn't fire the weapon

The actor has always denied responsibility and maintains that he never fired the weapon.

But the new analysis should show that shots could not have been fired if the trigger had not been used.

If convicted, Alec Bladwin could face 18 months in prison.
