On January 1, in the "unmanned vegetable stall" at the entrance of a supermarket in Lezhou Village, Xixiangtang District, Nanning City, Guangxi Province, dozens of baskets of fresh vegetables were placed in the vegetable basket for consignment, and the plastic bags tied to the vegetable basket were used to collect change. The author found that the vegetables in the vegetable basket include cauliflower, lettuce, radish, chrysanthemum and other varieties, and some vegetable baskets have bottomed out, and each plastic bag contains one or more pieces of change.

According to Mr. Lu, the owner of the supermarket, the stall was set up more than 10 years ago to facilitate the elderly in the neighborhood to sell vegetables, and each vegetable is sold for 2 yuan. Every morning, the old man puts the vegetable basket in front of his supermarket and sells it on consignment, so that he can go to other things and count his income when he has time. In order to facilitate the elderly to collect money, there is no payment method such as scanning the code on site, and customers who come to buy food need to bring their own change. Because the dishes are fresh and affordable, in addition to the nearby villagers, there are also customers from the urban area who come to buy food.
