With the revision of JR Japan's timetable in March, all limited express trains connecting Tokyo and Chiba will have reserved seats, and unreserved seats will disappear from the main limited express trains departing and arriving in Tokyo.

In the March 3 schedule revision of JR East, the schedule revision of the JR Japan East Railway included a new schedule for the Hokuriku Shinkansen, which runs between Tokyo and Fukui in the shortest time of 16 hours and 2 minutes without transfers, as well as a review of train operations in various places.

Of these, the limited express "Shiosai", "Wakashio" and "Sazanami" that connect Tokyo and Chiba such as Choshi, Abo Kamogawa, Kimitsu, etc., will have unreserved seats abolished and all cars will have reserved seats.

As a result, unreserved seats will disappear from the limited express trains on the main conventional lines departing from and arriving in Tokyo.

These limited express trains, which used to operate with a maximum of 51 cars, will be operated with 10 or 5 cars based on usage conditions, and some flights will be canceled or stop at different stations.

In addition, on the Keiyo Line, which connects Tokyo and Chiba Prefecture, rapid and commuter rapid services will be canceled in the morning and evening hours.

On the other hand, due to the strong use of the service mainly by foreign tourists, the limited express "Fuji Tour" connecting Shinjuku and Kawaguchiko Station of the Fuji Kyuko Line will be increased by one round trip to four round trips per day.

JR East Japan asks you to check the detailed timetable after the revision in the timetable to be released at the end of next month.
