"Amelia's Journeys at the Heart of History" what is it? Amelia's Journeys at the Heart of History" is Europe 1 studio's first children's podcast. Each of the twelve episodes is designed as a variation for 7-11 year olds of Europe 1's native podcast "Au cœur de l'Histoire".
Ancient Egypt, the court of Louis XIV, the land of the dinosaurs... In each episode, 10-year-old Amelia and Granny, an antique dealer with a strong character, go back in time. During their travels, they also meet characters who have marked history such as Pharaoh Akhenaten, Molière and Josephine Baker. Behind each of them, hides the voice of a personality from Europe 1, including Christophe Hondelatte and Stéphane Bern.
How many episodes are available? On December 21st, season 2 was released with 8 new episodes, which were added to the 24 already online! Amélia and Granny travel in France and Europe to meet Marie Curie, Gustave Eiffel and Marie-Antoinette's secret hairdresser.
