"TV Magazine" has just unveiled its long-awaited ranking of France's favorite TV personalities. Jean-Luc Reichmann, last year's winner, was dethroned by a woman, who took first place on the podium. Who is she?

Jean-Luc Reichmann is no longer France's favourite TV personality. The presenter of the Douze Coups de Midi on TF1 has just been dethroned by... Faustine Bollaert! This is the first time ever that a woman has topped the rankings by TV Magazine. And the presenter of Ça commence aujourd'hui is very far ahead of her competitors as she leads her colleague Jarry by almost 6 points and Jean-Luc Reichmann, still on the podium, by more than 7 points.

Jarry surprises

Behind them are Karine Le Marchand (fourth like last year), Nikos Aliagas, Cyril Lignac, Philippe Etchebest, Cyril Féraud and Nagui. All of them have already been in the top 10 of the ranking. But it was Jarry who created the surprise. The comedian has just moved to animation by taking the helm of Tout le monde veux prendre sa place on France 2. Four months after its debut, viewers are already under its spell and are raving about it.

Faustine Bollaert says she is "proud"

Faustine Bollaert, whose show Ça commence aujourd'hui is a hit every afternoon on France 2, explained her reaction the day TV Magazine told her the happy news. "I was super happy and super proud! I was in an intense period of filming and I wasn't at home much. I picked up my kids from school and told them right away in the car. I couldn't wait to share that with them...", she explains. The host already knows how she's going to celebrate her first place tonight. "My husband and I said to each other that we'd celebrate as a family at a restaurant when the poll came out in TV Mag," she said. No doubt a bottle of champagne will be slashed!
