In the early morning of the 9th, a man and a woman who appeared to be elderly were found dead bleeding from the neck in a room of an apartment in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture. Police have arrested a 45-year-old suspect, believed to be her son, for the murder of a woman and are investigating the details of the incident.

The arrested suspect is Kentaro Nishizawa (45), a self-proclaimed unemployed resident of Nishifune, Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture.

According to the police, just after 9 a.m. on the 3th, the suspect who was in the apartment building of his home said, "I killed my parents, and before I knew it, my mother and father were dead. He had a kitchen knife in his hand," a 110 call was made.

When police officers rushed to the scene, a man in his 80s and a woman in her 70s were found lying on the futon in the bedroom with blood pouring from the neck, and they were confirmed dead on the spot.

When the police arrived, the suspect was also in the room, and a kitchen knife with blood on it was found in the kitchen.

Police arrested the suspect on suspicion of murder for killing a woman based on the circumstances at the scene.

According to police, the deceased man and woman are believed to be the suspect's parents.
