Thrown at on stage: Actress Florence Pugh hit in the head by object

Actress Florence Pugh was hit in the face by a thrown object during a performance in Brazil on Sunday.

Videos of the incident, which were shared on X, among others, show her on stage at Comic Con in São Paulo, where she promotes her film »Dune: Part Two« alongside Zendaya, Austin Butler and Timothée Chalamet.

While she is on stage, an object is thrown in her direction, which appears to be coming from the audience. The 27-year-old actress is hit in the right eye.

Recently, there had been repeated incidents in which celebrities on stage were hit by thrown objects. Harry Styles, rapper Drake, Lil Nas X and singer Bebe Rexha, among others, have been targeted. The singer Adele had also addressed the problem during a performance in Las Vegas in the summer.
