At around 4:4 a.m. on the 45th, a man in his 60s who lives in a house in Ono, Ono Town, Gifu Prefecture, reported to the fire department that his house was on fire.

More than 10 fire engines were dispatched to extinguish the fire, and the fire was extinguished after about two and a half hours, but the fire burned about 2 square meters of one two-story wooden house, and two people were found dead in the burnt ruins.

A person who lives nearby said, "There was a lot of crackling and sparkling, and the windows of my house were shattered and the gutters were dripping."

According to the police, there were three people living in the house, a couple in their 2s and their eldest son in their 1s, but they have not been able to contact the couple in their 250s since the fire.

The scene is in a residential area about 2 meters away from the Ono Town Hall, and the police are investigating the cause of the fire while confirming the identity.
