From a milieu study to a revenge drama: On Sunday, »Tatort« took its audience into the world of parcel deliverers. Forensic technician Natalie Förster (Tinka Fürst) investigated undercover at a delivery service, where there had been a fatal knife attack on a messenger. During the Advent season, Förster had to deliver goods in a Santa Claus costume and was confronted with the private disasters of the delivery workers. In the end, the delivery woman with whom Förster completed her tours in the Sprinter turned out to be the perpetrator. She wanted to take revenge for the death of her boyfriend, who had apparently been run over by a parcel delivery car.

In our review, we wrote: "There are a few strong, stirring scenes in this Advent 'Tatort' – but they don't want to sit down together for a comprehensive tour of the world of work (...) The murder story from the parcel carrier milieu is constructed as a tricky guilt-and-atonement drama, the plausibility of which, however, is exaggerated in some places. In this way, the questions of morality, which must be asked in a crime novel about the excesses of supply capitalism, are shifted to a private matter among the exploited. It's hard to believe that one less Amazon package will be ordered on Monday morning."

We gave it 5 out of 10. How did you like the thriller?

The undercover »Tatort« offered a good opportunity to involve Tinka Fürst as investigator Natalie Förster more closely in the action. Fürst has been part of the Cologne crime thriller for almost three years and has the task of stirring up the boomer territory a little. For more than 25 years, Dietmar Bär and Klaus J. Behrendt have been at the start as Schenk and Ballauf. Their 91st joint »Tatort« has just been filmed. It is set in a large brothel and has the working title »Seventh Floor«. It is scheduled to air at the end of 2024.
