In a case where the body of an 6-year-old woman who had been missing since June was found in Yamanashi Prefecture, a shoe with blood stains was found in the home of a dating partner who was arrested in another case. The Metropolitan Police Department believes that the dating partner knows some circumstances and will investigate the connection.

The body of Yurika Nomoto (6), an office worker in Edogawa Ward, Tokyo, who had been missing since June, was found in a forest in Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, and the Metropolitan Police Department arrested Toshiya Hori (18), an office worker, on the 30th for abandoning the body in early June.

On the 6th, we are also conducting searches and verifications around the site.

In this case, Mr. Nomoto's LINE was no longer marked as "read" in late October, so his father filed a missing person report on November 28, and the Metropolitan Police Department was investigating.

According to investigators, on November 29, a search was conducted at the home of Mr. Nomoto's partner, an acquaintance of Hori's who was arrested in another embezzlement case, and shoes with blood stains on them were found.

In addition, clothing and daily necessities believed to belong to Mr. Nomoto were also left.

The Metropolitan Police Department will investigate the details of the circumstances under which the body was abandoned, and will investigate the connection because it believes that the dating partner knows something about the circumstances.
