At the invitation of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government, a delegation of the China Manned Space Program arrived in Hong Kong on 11 November for a four-day visit. In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation attended a media conference held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center to introduce the development of the manned space project and answer questions from reporters. When asked about the participation of candidates from Hong Kong and Macao in the selection of payload experts, Chen Dong, an astronaut of the Shenzhou-14 crew, said that China's space station is a home of the motherland in space, and no one can do without this home, so there are also payload experts from Hong Kong and Macao in the space station to manage and maintain the scientific research equipment in the space station.

Talking about the advantages of Hong Kong and Macao personnel, Chen Dong said that Hong Kong and Macao experts are more proficient and familiar with scientific research equipment. "By leveraging their own strengths, they can achieve more valuable scientific results."
