As follows from the message published in Telegram by the press service of the governor of St. Petersburg, the shift change of drivers and machine operators is carried out in a sliding schedule. This is done to ensure that some of the equipment remains on the line at all times.
"During heavy snowfall, the main types of work are continuous sweeping of the roadway, clearing the sites of public transport stops, pedestrian crossings, as well as sidewalks for the width of one passage of equipment," the report says.
