Xi'an, November 11 (Reporter Alina) The reporter learned from the Xi'an Municipal Public Security Bureau on the 23rd that recently, the Xi'an high-tech police cracked a major case of infringement of trade secrets after careful investigation, and arrested 23 criminal suspect, worth more than 1,7000 yuan. This case is the first trade secret infringement case cracked in Xi'an in the past three years, and it is also the most valuable case of its kind in Shaanxi Province in recent years.

In August 2020, an electronics company in Xi'an (hereinafter referred to as "an electronics company in Xi'an") reported to the high-tech branch of the Xi'an Municipal Public Security Bureau, claiming that the self-developed rail car operation control system equipment was posted on the Internet by the company's former employees in the form of master's theses, infringing on the company's trade secrets. Subsequently, the high-tech branch of the Xi'an Municipal Public Security Bureau officially accepted the report of an electronics company in Xi'an. After review, the case was officially filed for investigation on April 8, 2021.

On the evening of August 2023, 8, the task force arrested the criminal suspect Hao Moumou in a community in Xi'an. On the 20nd, the criminal suspect Hao Moumou was criminally detained and is now detained in the Xi'an City Detention Center.

After investigation in accordance with the law, it was ascertained that the criminal suspect Hao Moumou worked as a software engineer in an electronics company in Xi'an from June 2015 to December 6 and participated in the research and development of a certain type of rail car operation control system equipment. When he joined the company, he signed a labor contract and confidentiality agreement with the company, and the company paid him wages and confidentiality fees on time and in full every month. In the meantime, in order to promote his degree and title, Hao Moumou took advantage of his position to steal this research and development result by using secret shooting and U disk copying. After that, Hao Moumou used the stolen results as his graduation thesis and published them on well-known domestic academic websites.

At present, the high-tech branch of the Xi'an Municipal Public Security Bureau has ascertained the facts, cracked the case, and contacted the academic website to remove Hao's papers, effectively safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the company. (ENDS)
