The Xie Pu Children's Literature Award is a literary award established to commemorate the famous contemporary writer Mr. Xie Pu, to promote the creation of short children's literature, to build a local cultural brand, and to provide excellent spiritual food for children and teenagers. The award is guided by the Hunan Writers Association and hosted by the Xie Pu Children's Literature Award Judging Committee, and will be settled in Dongkou in 2021. The award is based in Hunan Province and is open to Chinese writers from all over the world.
This year's Literary Award has received contributions from more than 2000,8 Chinese authors from all over the country and overseas, and more than 3,5 short works of children's literature have been submitted for the competition. After three rounds of careful selection by the jury, a total of 3 works were finally selected for 2 fairy tales, 21 fables (groups), 30 children's poems, 90 novels, and <> essays, and another <> works were nominated for the award. The award-winning authors range from young and middle-aged writers to <>-year-old writers.
Sun Jianjiang, president of the Chinese Fable Literature Research Association and a well-known critic of children's literature, said that the Xie Pu Children's Literature Award has been successfully held for four years, and has launched batches of exquisite and good works, which have attracted more and more attention, and have gradually become a golden sign in the Chinese children's literature industry. I hope to continue to hold the award well and contribute more to the prosperity of Chinese children's literature.

Tang Sulan, President of the Hunan Writers Association, affirmed the fruitful results of the Xie Pu Children's Literature Award. Xie Lejun, head of the jury of the Xie Pu Children's Literature Award, said that after five years of development, the Xie Pu Children's Literature Award has not only had a wide influence in the domestic children's literature and children's newspapers, but also attracted the attention and participation of overseas Chinese, and its influence has become more and more influential.
After the award ceremony, Tang Sulan presided over a seminar on Xie Pu's literary creation, and the guests described Mr. Xie Pu's literary life with heart and affection and from multiple angles, recalling his beautiful words and his long-term impact on readers, and the atmosphere was warm.
"Dongkou has hosted the Xie Pu Children's Literature Award Ceremony for three consecutive years, which will play a positive role in further polishing the cultural business card of Mr. Xie Pu and continuing to enhance the popularity and reputation of our county."
