The last large-scale construction of JR Shibuya Station due to the redevelopment of Shibuya will begin in the early morning of the 18th, and this time the tracks and platforms of the Yamanote Line will be shifted upward. On the Yamanote Line, the outer loop between Osaki and Ikebukuro will be suspended all day on the 18th, and other sections will also be reduced, so JR is calling for the use of the Saikyo Line, which runs parallel to the suspended section.

Along with the redevelopment of Shibuya, which is said to be "once in 100 years", improvement work is also underway at JR Shibuya Station, and the fifth and final construction that is the fifth and final stage of the large-scale construction with suspension of service that is being carried out in five stages has started from the early morning of the 1th.

This work is to renovate the passage on the first floor that connects the east and west of Shibuya Station, and the tracks and platforms of the Yamanote Line that pass over the passage will be shifted up by up to 1 cm. On the 20th, construction will be carried out on the outer side.
