Cinema: Love According to Monia Chokri

She deeply moved us as an actress in Xavier Dolan's films. Since then, Monia Chokri has made us laugh in her own feminist comedies. After "My Brother's Wife" and "Babysitter", Monia Chokri, daughter of a Tunisian painter and a Quebec journalist, brilliantly directs "Simple comme Sylvain", her latest feature film in which a simple-minded, virile, but sensitive and tender man meets a woman who is as lost as she is emancipated. A philosophy of love where everything is possible, but also complicated.
