After the explosion of a spherical bomb in Berlin-Neukölln: Forensics officers begin their work

At a gathering in Berlin-Neukölln on Saturday evening, a bullet bomb was detonated next to a radio car. A toddler and two police officers were injured, the police said on X, formerly Twitter. A spokeswoman could not provide any information on the severity of the injuries and the age of the child when asked. The Berlin fire brigade is taking care of the injured, the investigations are ongoing, it said.
A spokesman for the Berlin police said late on Saturday evening that according to the current state of knowledge, there was no connection to a pro-Palestinian demonstration in the afternoon.
