The prize will be awarded on 16 November in the categories Storyteller of the Year, Innovator of the Year, Voice of the Year and Revelation of the Year. During the award ceremony, the winner of Lukas Bonnier's Grand Prize for Journalism will also be announced. awarded to a journalist who has demonstrated special professional skills over a long period of time.

The nomination period is the end of September, current entries must have been published before then. This year, around 500 entries have been submitted.
